As a professional, Dr. Currie holds her client's information and communications in the highest regards. During the Psychosocial Intake, a detailed policy will be reviewed regarding the client's Informed Consent and Confidentiality Policy.

In accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), all patient's have individual rights, including the following: right to a notice of privacy practices, right of access, right to request restriction on uses and disclosures of PHI, right o alternate communications, right to an accounting of uses and disclosures and to an access report, right to request correction/amendment of inaccurate or incomplete PHI, right to complain to the Complaint Official or to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Currie is contracted with major insurance companies including private companies. Clients need to verify coverage with their insurance provider prior to being seen.

Insurance co-payments are due at the time of the appointment, prior to being seen. If the co-payment is not rendered, the session will be rescheduled. Insurance companies will be billed for services following their appointment. Additional non-covered costs will be billed to the client after the insurance settlement is received.

Insurance Clients
Private Pay Clients

Dr. Currie does offer a rate for private pay clients. This fee is due at the time of service, prior to being seen.​ Credit/debit card payments will be charged a 3% convenience fee. Cash or check payments are accepted with no additional fee. If payment is not rendered at the time of service, the session will be billed at a non-private pay rate.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that clients contact the office at least 24 hours in advance if they are unable to keep the appointment for any reason. If clients arrive more than 15 minutes late for the appointment, the appointment will be rescheduled. In the event that the appointment is cancelled late, arrived at late, or a no show, a $80 fee will be charged to the client's account. This fee is not covered by any insurance company and must be paid before client can be rescheduled.
